Currently, there are 9 full-time faculty members at the Department of Civil Engineering & Environmental Resource Management. The specialties of Faculty members cover civil, structural, environmental, hydraulic, and water resource engineering. The teaching goal of this Department is to offer the fundamental engineering training and to encourage students to discover, analyze, and solve the problems independently. On top of that, the abilities of students to carry out the experimental work and the practical training assignment are emphasized as well. The faculties of the Department not only provide a balanced teaching in theory and practice, but also do research to bridge the theory and practice by serving the construction industry and the society as a whole.
